[You Only Live Once]
YOLO isn’t an excuse to act anything less than yourself. It’s not an excuse to do stupid things and make stupid decisions. Those stupid things and those stupid decisions are going to follow you for the rest of your life.
YOLO is living life to the fullest and taking every opportunity to succeed. The reason you make the choices you make, is because you only live once. Most mistakes are permanent, so why would you do something that may be important now, but will effect your future and possibly cut your only life short?
Life is precious and can easily be destroyed. How could you waste such a valuable thing? Many people are incredibly lucky to be alive, but only some really appreciate the second chance they’ve been given. Take that first chance to get it right.
Lastly, the definitions of “YOLO” are all different. It’s your choice what decisions you make and how you want your life to be. If you want to do things you wouldn’t normally do because of “YOLO”, then do them. Nobody’s stopping you from deciding how your life turns out. Just don’t take all your chances for granted.
